Just moved in...

I promised my wife a new house for her 30th birthday. She got us moved into our new home in 2 weeks while juggling 3 kids (5,4,1yr old), while auditing her nursing agency's paperwork from home. Pretty amazing.

Looks nice! As a guy with a 3 car garage and a corner lot (probably one of the largest in my hood)...the space is NICE! I'm sure I won't feel that way once my twins arrive and grow up a little. Now no trees? That would kill it for me. Congrats.

We have a landscape package, you'll see the cutouts already set in the backyard. Trees won't go in until it gets warmer. We have no back neighbors. I can sacrifice leaving the mature trees of my last home, for the creature comforts of the new house.

Caveat.. I'm the salesperson for the builder who built my home, so they gave me a price I couldn't refuse coupled with an insanely low interest rate on a 15 yr mortgage.

Beautiful home. Wood flooring throughout, or carpeted also? Nice size lot too.

Carpet is only in the bedrooms. We've had wood floors in bedrooms, and we didn't like it.

Looks nice! Congrats

I have light colored furniture as well, but don't have kids yet. How do you manage it with the kids in the house? I figure mine will become mulitcolored once I break down trying to keep them clean forever.

nothing worth noting in garage....floors not epoxied yet. I just sold my boat, I sold my z06 a long time ago, and there's a bunch of boxes littering the space waiting to be tossed or recycled
