6-9-10 Carjacked at gunpoint Deer Park

Funny that something like a guy being carjacked at gun point in DP has not made the news. A guy a few of us on here know was jacked at gunpoint on the 225 feeder near Georgia. He wasnt even in his BMW. He was in his early 90's truck. Yeoljb (not the victim)updated me a little bit ago and said they had caught the bad guys. The story I got was that they boxed him in with a car front and rear. 2 guys approached from the lead car and pulled a gun. The assaulted him and stole his truck. He got the plates from the lead vehicle. I hear it was a father son team. Im not sure if all involved were apprehended. Maybe JB can elaborate.

wow... that's why you always keep enough room between the you and the vehicle in front to have an escape route

wow! thats why you always leave room in front for an aescape route IF possible, I know they probably made sure that wouldnt happen, so thats why you ALWAYS carry a weapon with.
As a licensed carry dude, I have to admit, I would have probably my pants and would have opened fire like a maniacal crazy man when I saw the dude coming at me with gun drawn. Once in my life have I been confronted with the fact of having to use my weapon, sure was glad he held down and I didnt have to put him down, I was fkn scared but ready.
I am glad they caught these turds and really glad they didnt kill him during the robbery. Its a seriously messed up society we live in lately, best to be prepared sad to say.

Dude, that is scary man. I've been held at gun point once. It was a couple years back, was walking back from Krogers behind the AMC 30 to my apt across the street. They came behind my buddy and I in a minivan, won't ever forget the day. Didn't know what to do, just emptied out my pockets and threw it at them and took off!

OK. Got an update and a different version. The story is waaaay different. The lead car slammed on the brakes. It caused the guy we know to lock em up. The driver got out and started with the driver we know. The kid got out with the gun pointed at the driver we know. They yanked the driver out and kicked his . They took the keys and left. They were found to be drunk and word is the local cops were more than familiar with the kid. Good ending.

I'd glad I did hundreds of hours of cqb schools. and 3 guns in my car make for a nice feeling. it's not the feeling of pants WHEN it happens (for me anyway) it's the shakes I get 30 minutes after these things go down.

The message behind the video however, is that sometimes the hardest people to love are the ones who needed it the most, and being humble about things such as possessions.

It was a father and son that committed the crime. The guy that got beat up was able to tell the LEO's the license plate number of the truck they took off in. The LEO's ran the plates and staked out the neighborhood where they live and stopped them before they could make it home. The dad was arrested for DWI and the son, who I went to school with, was arrested for assault. The police recovered the gun so the DA says he will charge the stupid fahker with assault with a deadly weapon. I hope the dumb a$$ has a good time in the pokey.....

Yea. I'm not so sure I would do anything different, especially if someone I loved or myself was in immediate danger.

OMG! My mom lives right there. Scary espically for Deer Park. Although our house did get broken into when I was about 10 luckily no one was home.
