Where to ride off road

Seems like not many places to take your bike off road without going to one of those parks. I’m just wanting to do some trail riding. Any thoughts on some places around Galveston - Freeport area? Thanks

Pelican Island, Bolivar Peninsula beach down to Sabine Pass, north of Galveston around the toll bridge, coastline and intercoastals

I'm in League City and ride my DR650 along power line easements, pipeline easement and drainage water ways. I also enjoy riding the 12 mile shoreline from San Luis pass to Surfside.

I just got to ride my supermoto at 3 palms. But they seem to think it's a no no to ride on slicks. I didnt really have a issue but make sure you go on a dry day. I was like ice out there since I went early before it had time to dry up.
