banks: irritating procedures

Why is it that deposits by atm, don't get updated till Monday nights? Yet if you hold off on the weekend and go in and deposit it on Monday, its immediate.

Why is it that banks are open for a two or 3 hour window on Saturday...and those are the hours you are still at work?

Why is it the only branch that will have deposit slips at the drive through when business hours are closed..is the one clear across town?

Anytime you call by phone and get the automated system, you can say exactly the option it stated..yet it says " I'm sorry..I think you said ..."**** me now....I feel less humand dealing with automated systems" is that correcrt"? .I said ACCOUNT BALLLAAAAAAANCE YOU ..

Representative.....

Representative...

Representative....

"Ok..I think you said " fixation" you , don't scream at me, I am just automated"

You piece of animated facking software I want to kill you like TRON style

"You would like to end the call? Goodbye"

Fack..

(Redial)... dammmmmit!!!!!!

Then you get some ditzy chick..I just want to festering hate on her..to cover that squaky bubble gum voice..........did you try out automated system? You wouldn't have to wait".

It should no longer ask press 1 for whatever language..it should ask press 1 for a live operator.

End rant......I hate banks. Just give me a magic cookie jar. Where is that for 2010? Huh??? HUH?

i deposit my checks in the ATM....they post the same day. If I had it my way, I'd be using Direct Deposit, but since I don't, BankofAmerica makes it easy to deposit without talking to anyone or sitting in a drive thru....my kind of banking.

I am waiting for the direct deposit thing to finish up. Should be this next check..

I HAD bank of america, and never had issues. But after the wife did the 36k of online payday loans, then bolted with the kids, when I lost my job..., leaving my/our account neg in the thousands and thousand, and thousands, and thousands.... I had to open a non BoA account. Issues ever since. (I mean with banking...not adressing my other issues lolz)

I'm happy with Chase. free checking, great customer service, and refunded my "charge dispute" within hours.

There machines are very slow to react to your inputs. Then, they are accomodating to SUVs...I have to get out of my ricer Accord just to be able to reach there touch screen display or buttons. And everytime I answer YES I want a receipt, I have to answer NO THANK YOU to there CC promotion before I get my receipt. This is the chase off of 646/Bay Colony, Clear Lake (bay area blvd) and Woodridge in S Houston.

I use Moody Bank also and there ATMs are simple fast and efficient.

Maybe it's cause your not a chase customers.
I have never been asked about any promotional to get money out.
But I love their ATMs, cause I have a truck.

But in reality, I am not worried about a few seconds difference, it's not that often I need to get cash out anyhow. But I love how Chase doesn't charge me to use other ATM's in the rare event I am nowhere near a Chase ATM. My old credit union charged me to use ATMs elsewhere, so not only did I have to pay like $1.50 to my bank, but I had to pay $1.50 or whatever to the ATM owner, so that meant spending several $ just to get $$ out.

I opened an account with them because I needed somewhere local to deposit rent checks, and they already had my mortgage. My main bank is in OK. Dealing with them over mortgage stuff is a PITA. Well, any big bank is. I had to submit a written request to their magical fax machine in the sky, and then 3 weeks later they sent me a response via snail mail. Not exactly efficient.

They will find any and every way to screw you possible. I will NEVER "bank" with them again.
