Old Member, New Bike..

Hey there,
not sure how many of the old-school MH peeps are still hanging around, but hello to those I haven't met yet!

Took a few years hiatus from motorcycles, but finally got the itch again to get back on two.
Decided NOT to go with a sport-bike or supermoto this time around and get something kinda in between. Bonus is it's also comfortable and capable for longer rides.
Maybe not your cup of tea, but I love this thing!
Rides like a dream, and the big 1000cc twin sounds pulls it along nicely.
Thanks to Patrick from Motorcycles Unlimited for helping me get her kitted out!

Big Bend is definitely on my short list!
Probably stay within the 1,000 mile range as work doesn't allow for too much time off.

My parents live up in Arkansas now, so will definitely be heading up to the Ozarks soon.
Looking to hook up with more riders down here, so let me know when the next ride's planned.

Yep I also have a 1290Super Adventure. Byrdman and I just returned from Beartooth Pass/Yellowstone.

Thinking of a Big Bend trip before years end. Join us, it’s a blast.

Another fellow adventure rider. Hello. Iíve actually been riding adventure bikes the last 5 years and only recently jumped back on a sportbike. You can never have too many bikes!

Tom,

Be careful with those two.

You may want to find out where you fit in the spoon size...little spoon, big spoon, or middle spoon

Nice!
I looked at the Africa Twin for a good long while. Almost bought one but decided to get its little sister instead.

It's the 250 Rally. The mini adventure bike per the critics.
Here it is with the bling I added.
Bags
Barkbusters
and Denali pod lights on the forks.

I need a rear fender rack but all I've seen so far look like they are off of a 1950's Sears and Roebucks bicycle.
