Smile Hi everyone from Atascosita

Hi, my name is Steve, been riding bikes for 8 years but last year I bought the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 cuz I just wasn't getting allot of riding on Houston highways, and the cruisers, well out in the country, just even on hard gravel its super squirly, useless for anything but paved roads. Love the bike and am looking for some people who would like to ride Sam Houston National forest, or wherever, as long as its not too muddy. Don't get me wrong, I have taken it offroad allot, but it does not have knobby tires. It has these 50/50 tires that are almost like street slicks but are very rubbery, grippy, soft, . I am told they wear out very fast, like every 5000 miles. Drop me a line if anyone is doing the larger adventure bikes and is looking for other riders. This bike weighs 360lbs and is about the same size as the 650s. I may be an older rider, dunno, I am 47 yr old. In pretty good athletic condition. So I not looking to be doing flying jumps or anything off 50 ft hills. I never owned a dirt bike before, but I did have a 4 wheeler once. I still have the cruiser which I use for the big rallies like in Galveston. Thanks.
