Anyone had a speeding ticket in Waller county?

Got speeding ticket in Waller county court. Been calling lawyers they mostly charge $220 to 300. Was using citizen law firm for 50 bucks and sullo sullo for 75 bucks but they dont go to waller. Usually the lawyer persuade the district attorney to dismiss the case but court wants money paid so I usually get deferred disposition for 90 days (if no ticket within this period then it will get dismissed). But one lawyer said all speeding tickets are digitalized and goes straight to the DMV system as soon as the cops entered it.
Need advice. I am thinking to go solo to court but if you know good affordable lawyer please speake up.
Thanks

There's usually a choice on the ticket itself to ask for deferred disposition... don't need a lawyer for that option.

You have 3 options when it comes to tickets

1. Fight The Ticket In Court
- Win, Ticket can be dismissed, Pay Lawyer
- Lose, Ticket Stays On Your Records, You Pay The Ticket, Pay Lawyer
2. Pay Ticket
- Your out some money and the ticket is on your record, probably minus some
points on your Driver License
3. Deferred Deposition / Defensive Driving
- If you have not done this within the past 12 months, this is the best option to take
- Defensive Driving for Waller County is eligible as along as the alleged speed is not 25 mph or more above the posted speed
- Deferred Deposition
- Pay your Fine
- Stay under the radar for 90 days
- If mandatory take a driver safety course
If you manage to not get in trouble when your Deferred Deposition Due Date comes up then your ticket gets dropped from your record

Choose your poison, If a Deferred Deposition / Defensive Drive is available I would take it just my 2 cents.

But before anything do your research, Go online find out how much your ticket is and read all the paperwork.

Thumbs down

The situation at Waller is rigged for revenue. The judge that I got was a nice acting woman with a heart of dry ice. Their favorite trick is to claim you were in a construction zone, which doubles the fine. Never mind that there were no construction workers present. I should have lawyered up, but whether that would have helped, I do not know.
They have a huge fleet of police vehicles for such a small town. As I waited to be heard, the number of complaints about chicken tickets was astounding. Everybody was off. People leaving and slamming the door really hard. Women crying. The place sucks big donkey dongs. They ought to be ashamed of themselves, but there is no shame. Vultures I tell you, vultures.
