My dog kept trying to mount my father. Turned out he had colon cancer.

And the canine was on the hospital payroll? Didn't know they were doing that these days.

Ha, no -- personal interest in cancer research. Lungs are one of 2 likely next places for mine to travel.

A few clinics have been doing experimental trials using canines; work at places like Mayo and the Deutch one in the news recently has been going on since early 2000s as far as I know.

I wonder how this will appear on hospital bills.
canine consult- $8543.12
specialty breed surcharge- $1124.16
k9 escort/handler- $3467.06
k9 malpractice/license surcharge- $1555.99
Gourmet "good doggie" treats- $110.67

+300%

Wonder if insurance will cover this?
There seems to be some promising results so far...
