any one of those! but the Katana or that GSXR would be really cool, Ive yet to see another 1st-gen GSXR on the road, Ive seen plenty Katanas and GS's

so... bring the GSXR

I really hope you're not taking the suspension off that one to put onto the GS

No but that doesn't mean the front end on the GSXR is safe. Somewhere down the road it may get upgraded suspension. I did start/run a page on FB called Restomod Motorcycles after all.

its mostly original though, and those wheels and forks look to be in good shape! only reason why I went full resto-mod on mine was because it wasn't cosmetically appealing when I got it, and it had a lot of beaten up and worn out looking parts

with that said, updating to 17" wheels, inverted forks and an R1 shock made a tremendous difference in the handling department

I wish I had known sooner that this was still a thing nowadays. Y’all should go check this out, I don’t want to be the only old-school sport rider there among a sea of cafe “racers”

Ok for those who actually ride their bikes and aren’t afraid of corners, I’m hosting a ride Sunday morning. It’s not a long route maybe 2 hours tops, but it’s all twisty back roads. I’m thinking KSU @ 9:30, meetup spot at HEB off 99 and Harlem road. I’m not entirely sure about doing the crab river run on the way back because last I heard there was construction, might be worth checking out depending on the group we have. Lunch remains TBD but I’m thinking Sammy’s for now

I had a 85 (86?) VF1000R, that a friend had given me ( w/title) I ended up selling it a few years later, to a really short guy, missing fingers, on both hands. Bragging about how he had wrecked every bike/car/truck he ever owned.

Had a bad feeling, but If I didn't NEED that money, I wouldn't had sold.( divorce) I'll see if I have a few surviving pics. Heavy bike, but O loved the bodywork. Hand laid fiberglass. Not ABS, or whatever made of today.
