Motorcycle rentals in Houston

Does a motorcycle rental shop exist in Houston? I thought MH had one as a sponsor not too long ago, but can't find it.

Out of bidness. Pretty sure you can't even rent a Harley in Houston anymore.

It's hard to find rental bikes except harleys. The place I have does business with San Fran closed down and they were the only ones that rented wings.

I guess I could ship it but that is like $900 round trip. then you got the air fare.

Just kind of curios Arpent why would you even want to rent a bike in flat houston?>

I rented a Wing and rode it 500 miles out into the country and back.

Money well spent!

This was back in 2006

I rented it from Eagle Rider in Kemah. They are no longer in business. If they were, I'd keep renting. It was a great experience.

After taxes and insurance it was $182 for 24 hours.

They said they'd never seen anyone put that many miles on one. Normally people just rent them to try them out before buying or putt around town.

We rode out to Fayetteville for lunch and took some fun roads to get there and get home.

Cool but what did you think of the wing's performance were you surprised how fast it was and how it could corner?

You would be surprised especially if your wife rides with you. It is just soo comfortable compared to a sportbike. And I figured out if you plug your ipod in the 3.5 aux jack in the left pocket and then turn it up all the way the stereo becomes loud as heck. Everybody then can enjoy your music.
