Well I am still free. . I use to make sketchy passes to because I didn't want to have to slow down to miss any great corners coming up until one day on 39 coming from Hunt.

I saw a car and then a truck pulling a trailer so I made it passed the car and deciding to try the trailer and trunk before I blind turn coming up make it pass the trailer and then right when I get even with the truck another truck is coming right at me. I had to no place to go so I locked up both brakes got sideways (on the goldwing mind you) and got prepared to have a head on collision and death probably. Blessfully for me the oncoming truck went into the ditch to miss me. I was going to go back and apologize and thank him for saving my life but I didn't want to get in a fight either because he deserved to kick my .

Two of my friends behind me saw the whole thing and didn't say a word to me we just rode. And I realized that day if I died I would NEVER get to take turns fast again. NONE. So I changed my philosophy not to pass on blind turns anymore because a couple of missed turned is better than no missed turns. But I still pass like a mad man on the double yellow straights and shoulders if they help.

Why is he parking it in the corners?

I just buy a lottery ticket when I want to know how lucky I am.

Glad to hear that you managed to eek out of that one, but even more glad to hear that you're riding safer as well.

I'm all for having a good time, but in a safe manner...as soon as your decisions start impacting other people, that's where I draw the line.
