Plasti dip on dirt bike wheels

I've been doing a little work on my old YZ250 recently, giving her a little face lift. I bought some PJ1 factory yamaha blue paint and have touched up the frame in a few areas. As well as new fenders and a new black seat cover. The black seat cover looks great but now it's kinda bugging me as there isn't much black on the bike. Have any of you dirt guys ever plasti dipped dirt bike rims? I was thinking of plasti dipping them black but wasn't sure how it would hold up in the dirt.

Pictures!

Have not plastic dipped wheels. But I have used the product on body work for the kids bike to accommodate / match some graphics.

After a few years Iíve had some peeling mainly due to them crashing. Itís been easy to touch up.

Sweet, looks good. I'm gonna go ahead and do it. I wasn't even thinking about doing the hubs until you posted that picture. I was just gonna tape off the spokes and do the rims.

It will not hold up in the dirt, Have them powdercoated if you are determined to change color.

It's nothing special man. Just an old 98 YZ that I ride only mostly when we go to the beach house in Sargent.
