The Passage

by Justin Cronin. Has anyone read this book? My step-dad told me about it, and I have read mixed reviews online. Just wondering if anyone has read and if, what do you think?

The book was pretty addictive when I read it. I'm not sure if you like his style of writing but you could skim through the first chapter as a tease or to check out if you like it or not. See if it pulls you in. But, I like the writing of the book and it makes it even scarier than normal horror fiction and far better than vampiric romance.

So it"s horror? Is it very gruesome in details? I LOVE science fiction but I don't do gruesome.

Well, I'm not sure what are your limitations of gruesome but if you were to compare it to Dean Koontz's books, it isn't as gruesome. But I must warn you, some parts of the book is going to creep you out a bit. Science fiction gets me every time! Especially post-apocalyptic books.

Cool! Thanks for the reply. I will download it to my kindle. I get so into good stories that I will not out it down until I am finished. All I read is science fission. I don't like lifelike murder mysteries, it give me nightmares. People are sick. At least I know a vamp, werewolf or alien is not gonna get me. hahaha

Books are always much better than movies. More detail and you get to use your imagination. TV is a bore when I am in one of my reading moods. lol
