Powder Coating

I had my front wheel stripped and powder coated by Atlas plating and was very pleased with the results. Total cost was $250. Below are images of the wheel after stripping and after powder coating. The match to the Kawasaki green was pretty close. If I wanted it closer, I could have gone with a lacquer paint, but I wanted the durability of the powder coat. And... since I mount my own tires with the tywrap method, I have a wheel without scratches, inside and out!

Was that just for the front wheel? Seems pretty expensive. For most things I get quoted 100 bucks a wheel or frame or most parts.

That was just for the front. I had a hard time finding anyone who would do it. Where do you have yours done.

Thanks for the info. I was going to ask, but the site was down at the time.
