I have an 81 xs650 that was a fun daily for several months, but it's been killing my bike, and not running good recently. I just got it back from the shop last week. I had my guy replacing the completely hacked wire harness with a good old stock one. The bike ran very rich coming home, but made the 40-ish minute ride with no trouble. I took the bike out a day or two later and it stalled about a mile from home and wouldn't start back up. I've been messing with it this morning. I cleaned the carbs and replaced the petcock. The right carb wasn't getting enough fuel. Now it is. The battery was low, so it's currently on the charger. This is a cool bike that needs an owner who is more mechanically inclined than I am. Every time I take it out, it gets compliments and people love to talk about it. It's got a new delkevic exhaust, led headlight in a chrome bucket, comes with clip ons and standard bar, led taillight, MIKUNIS from mikes xs, brat style cafe seat, and lots of other little things. Its got a blue title in the previous owner's name, and he has signed the back.
It was a fun bike for a while, but I want something a little easier going on my bad back and maybe a little more cush for the tush. Looking to get at least 2k , but would also love to hear from you if you want to trade bikes.
best way to get a hold of me is text or fb messenger. 936-524-3873 or Matt Lynch on fb

After getting sons of offers under $1000, I managed to trade for an 06 victory kingpin that needs a little bit of love!
Josh, if you're on here, thanks again!

sometimes it just takes the right buyer! he wanted an XS with a title, and I was the only one around. He had his late father's Victory and didn't want it.
DONT MIND IF I DO!
