2003 CRF450/490r supermoto WTT for r3 or money
This bike was Tojo92's bike. This is copied from his ad. I've rode the bike a hand full of times after fixing a transmission issue with 3rd or 4th. I had to have the motor case half replaced and they replace the bearings and gears that were worn. Had the work done at jm racing. Suspension was setup and refreshed for a 180 pound rider. I bought some sumo foot pegs and air fuel mixture adjuster. Bought a remote brake adjuster. I sold off the other wheels and it has the machacini wheels. I acquired a stock bore cylinder and piston but only have it as a spair. The bike pulls hard. Has fresh oil change and I bought spair brake pads.
I just feel better on a sport bike chassi and want to go back to one. Asking 5300. I also replaced the swing arm bearings when I got the bike. I think those were bad when i got the bike and added some sliders. Bike had a clear Texas title in my name. Off road only, but easy to convert if you wanted to via a green tag inspection and some easy conversion steps. Lots of stories I could tell about this bike, but here is what matters: Motor is now a 490 - work done by P1 Racing in 2015 (around $2700) - less than 15 hours on it, probably closer to 10 hours Transmission - Gone through at P1 Racing - less than 2 hours on transmission and motor inspection (John said the cylinder, etc. still looked fresh after the BB install) Transmission had an odd/rare failure while practicing Friday CMRA practice in Feb 2016 after rebuild. All fixed by P1 (forgot what that cost) The bike has just been started routinely since most work was done and run around the neighborhood to keep all things in proper shape. F3 Front wheel, stock CRF caliper with SS line and newer CRF M/C (better than original 2003) can be included for not much additional cash. Suspension has less than 10 hours on it since refresh at OROR (8/2015 $1300). Big boy set up for all 265 lbs of Mongo. Marchesini Wheels with Magura MC set up and MotoMaster Caliper. Check prices on these items and you will see they are NOT cheap. All kinds of extra gearing Extra stock can and airbox Spare front rotor for Marchesini wheel "Yosh" cake pan bellypan* Rear stand included Kick stand off a CRF450X if you want to street it Some other random stuff as well like filters, etc. With the motor work, suspension work, Marchesini's, NEW Michelins, Magura MC and Moto Master set up with spares, you are pretty much buying those items and getting the bike for free. I ran this bike for a bit with the CMRA in the Motard class and had a blast. I haven't been able to race for a while and it is just sitting other than me starting it and maintaining it with rides around the neighborhood (the neighbors LOVE me). About me racing it... It is a 2003, and I am a big boy rider at 265 lbs without leathers (good news...I always raced in leathers, nakid I would have received even more strange looks). Some results were as follows and I had a blast the whole time usually laughing out loud.. Racing against some newer bikes and definitely much lighter riders. I did get a few podiums. Date Track Racers in race Place 2/15/2015 MSRH 7 3 7/26/2015 MSR 6 2 8/23/2015 MSR 7 2 I am a mid pack racer at best; the bike is fast and capable (its the bike not the rider). Imagine what it could do with a lighter rider and the brake and wheel upgrades included.... |

I will get some better pictures when I get a chance. These are just what I could find on my phone. Also added a new hammer head shifter but only rode with it at 3 palms 2 times.

I had a lot of fun on that bike. Sorry about the transmission issues after you bought it, I really thought all was well. Glad you got it fixed.

No worries man. You were a stand up seller and helped me out after the sell. Jmracing told me what the issue was so I'm sure you were not aware.
