Powder Coating
I had my front wheel stripped and powder coated by Atlas plating and was very pleased with the results. Total cost was $250. Below are images of the wheel after stripping and after powder coating. The match to the Kawasaki green was pretty close. If I wanted it closer, I could have gone with a lacquer paint, but I wanted the durability of the powder coat. And... since I mount my own tires with the tywrap method, I have a wheel without scratches, inside and out!
