This just left Patrick's shop. It's basically a barn find. Been sitting for about 15 years. Still has the stock tires. Pat's guys gave it fresh oil and cleaned out the fuel system and it's running great now. I am the second owner. Previous owner was an old fella who has passed on. I scooped up the bike and now i'm trying to find it a new home. He said the bike has a coolant leak on the left side. You can see residue on the inside edge of the left fairing. I just went for a ride about 20 min and didn't see any fresh coolant.
I'd like to get $3000 for it. the bike is posted on ebay and a couple of forums. whoever gets me the dollars first gets the bike. I have all of the documentation from when the bike was sold at cycle shack north until current.

Idk. Had 2 flake already. There's a dude in Philly who wants it, but I feel a lot more comfortable with face to face and cash.
If you're local and wanting a fast banana, hmu

The guy who won the auction decided to also waste my time and money by canceling. there went a $25 fee for posting it the first time, and another $25 fee for posting it a second time. Super. So the bike is for sale still. Face to face transaction, 3000 cash. I won't sell it with an electronic PayPal deposit from Mozambique.

Tire kicking is a blast, isn't it? I just let a similar bike go for a similar asking price on CL. Cost me $5, had like 10 emails in an hour and $2800 in my pocket in 3 hours. Wasn't sitting on 21 yr old stock tires and no coolant leaks though...GLWS. Gonna miss that torque. FYI, post up on a Friday afternoon to get the most out of your $5 posting fee.

Dude said his kid bidded on it, and he didn't approve
I haven't had a single tire kicker yet. One guy almost had a trade for a speed triple. He had said it was in mint condition, but there was cracked bodywork, dash lights barely visible, turn signals and taillight barely visible, and the tiaillight was a complete wreck. The lense was taped to the tail, and the reflector part was just flopping around inside.

Also, regarding my superbanana, I've been riding it around town, enjoying it, and I haven't seen any coolant leak. Patrick had put the coolant leak note on the service write up because there is some residue that might have been very old coolant, but it's been ship shape for me.

Bump for a great seller. If you've got some extra cash to add I have a red V twin that you might like.
