Hey there guys. Feeling good about being able to ride again after about 20 years. Being riding everyday now for the last year. Looking to make new friends and join in some ride alongs.

Thanks. Riding on Houston streets has made me a lot more aware of surroundings and potential bad situations. Let's just say that I have gotten pretty good at emergency braking and swerving. Both a blessing and a curse.

I have the cure to the dreaded Houston riding. Join one of my weekend ride-a-longs listed in the events, meets and rides section.

Welcome Eric. Glad you're back.
I work and ride downtown atleast once a week and it does get easier to deal with Houston traffic without having to revert to emergency maneuvers.

It has gotten better.
Let me rephrase that, I've gotten better experiences dealing with it. After my initial BRC class, I've gone back and done the BRC 2 and 2 ride like a pro classes. All within a year and 2 months. Dont want to develop any bad habits early in my career.
