Houston EZTag ???

Where do you guys put your EZTag stickers on your bikes?

I live in Kingwood and commute to Pasadena for work, not really interested in taking 610 to 225 in the mornings, so I was going to set up an EZTag for the bike so I can just take the beltway around when I ride the bike to work.

Bikes don't get stickers. They get a transponder. I keep mine in the tail.

I leave mine at home. However, you can stick it in jacket pocket ,underneath the seat anywhere out of sight it didn't have to be in plain sight for the scanners scan it.

If you sign up with NTTA, they give you a sticker, just like cars, and it's free, EZTAG sucks. Also, you don't really need to carry the tag with you. They can always read your license plate and bill accordingly, as long as you're registered. Also you can ride the paint

The tag opens opens exit and on ramp gates if they still exist on some ramps.

The garage. They can read my plate and go from there. Go around the arms if need be.

Motorcycles are issued a high frequency transponder. Mine is velcroed inside my glovebox but under the seat works just fine.

under the seat mounted to the subframe. Honestly, I've never been billed for it in all these years (plate is mounted with an acute angle).

NTTA is the better deal.. allows you to use the Grand Parkway and others as well. And doesn't charge per vehicle. I just used to leave my tag in my jacket pocket and it worked

Can a TollTag be used in more than one vehicle?
TollTags are issued to specific vehicles and assigned to a corresponding license plate number. A single TollTag may not be assigned to more than one vehicle at a time. However, customers can have up to three (3) TollTags on a single account at no additional cost.

I meant they didn't charge you for each tag like EZTag does... i.e. when you order the tag, not when you use it... capisce?

Txtag doesn't charge for the tag either and can be used anywhere eztag can be used based on what I've read.

I do not know. I checked two weeks ago. This is from their website tonight:

https://www.txtag.org/en/about/faq_about.shtml

Is there a charge for the TxTag sticker?
Customers who are signed up for AutoPay (automatic replenishment) will not be charged for their TxTag stickers. Customers not enrolled in AutoPay will be charged $7.99 for a new or replacement TxTag sticker.

Thanks for the replies guys. Got mine setup last weekend.

The lady I dealt with at the office told me that my EZTag will work everywhere in Texas (including TxTag in Austin and Dallas, where I sometimes travel), and Kansas.
