Think he was doing the speed limit?

Had to pull into a driveway to move some boxes someone tossed into my bed.

We're turning around in the driveway of a paintball place on 45n, when we hear a 'boom'... thought it was thunder.

Get turned, facing the feeder to see this car appear out of a dust cloud.

The picture was taken as 4 of us were trying to calm the driver down and get him to quit moving. He'd crawled from the front and out the rear window.

No one saw the actual accident, 3 people reported him flying by them on the freeway & down the ramp. One said it looked like he was going to get on the ramp back onto the freeway, guess he decided against it and think he went head on into the concrete on the passenger side. It looked almost like the car flipped, made ground contact and flipped again landed on the slope and fell against the barricade.

...and that explains a fair amount right there.

Good find, I spent awhile trying to search for reports of the accident with no luck.

So him speeding might of been the result of a gun shot wound in the back.

Interesting twist to the plot. Ulric, did you see any blood on his shirt? This is kind of spooky.

Yes, and told the driver of the first firetruck to arrive as much. Back of shirt, front of the seat.
It was my first thought, inclination but it was possible it was due to the crash/impact so didn't go that far into my speculation.

So he might of been bleeding out with internal injuries that led to possibly being unconscious while driving.

Awesome of you to help out. To bad for the ending.

Bevo,

The guy did NOT get up and walk around before he collapsed. He pulled himself 1/2 out of the back window.

At one point, he was facing the barricade sat and maybe tried to stand... and I can't say if he did it on his own or if the people @ the wall @ that point asked him to or not.

The ambulance arrived just before we left, so he'd have the whole time from the ambulance folx getting out of the vehicle to the car, to stand up, walk around and collapse in a manner where he ended up under the back end of the car... based on the pic's from the news 'report'.

News report says he was shot in the abdomen. Blood was on the back of his shirt spine to right side, roughly waist to shoulder blade with the same on the car seat, I dont recall seeing any on the front... or much on his skivs & shorts.

Buck,

He could have easily passed out or been fading in/out @ that point...simple blood loss, shock would have been sufficient cause. No telling unless more information is released.
Compounding trauma from the accident, simple time might have been factors in why he passed. Too many unknowns, variables.

https://www.click2houston.com/news/m...uthorities-say

Look @ the 9 second mark, sure looks like one of the guys is doing chest compressions as they're wheeling him to the ambulance.

while in the text it claims he had 'massive head trauma'. If he did, it was all internal.

Yup, it's pretty common to get conflicting info when multiple agencies are involved.

So I wondered if the shooter would be identified as maybe a road rage participant, but than the story states " Its believed the man was shot elsewhere and was attempting to drive himself to the hospital" which makes the story a little more clear.

I know if I had been shot and was trying to drive to the hospital that ride might get a little crazy. Probably some ill intentions behind this story, but who knows.
