Yep all that is required is long sleeve shirt, gloves, pants, and over the ankle shoes/boots. They provide a helmet if you don't have your own.

USE SUNSCREEN!

And long-sleeve shirt is fine. Moto jacket is better, but you're going 5-10 mph most of the time as you learn all the basic maneuvers. You've ridden a bicycle faster. Environment is very controlled. No need to worry.

Correct. Long sleeved shirt is fine. Don't go buy a bunch of gear because we're going to give you a buttload of coupons at the end of class.

More info on what to bring here: http://www.awesomecycles.com/m_gear.cfm

Be sure and read this before your class: http://www.awesomecycles.com/brc_after_you_register.cfm

??? I thought you signed up at that "other" place? You won't get the coupons.

^

I stay in the South East side near hobby. I'm looking forward to the class already, and even more so to actually get a bike and take a ride or two.

whomikeda: I think you'd want to meet a member of the forum who actually has a bike lol. We can ride sometime when we both get bikes tho!

Thanks, that's a very generous offer. I think I'll be ok without one for the class though. Do you ever have trouble finding gear that size? Just curious, I'm actually the same size as you lol
