Bike hater ??

Last night, I was riding home around 9pm. When I parked at the red light waiting to turn left. A car behind tapped behind my back and acted dumb about it. I'm like okay. Next he yelled at me to go, when obviously the light was still red, and he saw there were cars in front of me. I don't know if he was just fuking with me or being serious. I know I done nothing wrong but this happened to me.

Did this ever happened to you guys, and how would you deal with A**hole like him?

I just shrugged off and rode away, because I know bike versus cage is not a good idea.

Guy in car calls his friend this morning..."Hey tony... saw you on your bike last night and was messing with you...why were you acting like you didn't know me?"

Sounds like a bad position to be in.
Would have let him pass and tried to get license plate / follow / call cops.

sounds a bit like he was baiting you...not a good situation to be in.
I do carry but if I was in a thinking mood, I would have rode off.
If I had my head up my and was in a " it" mood I would have confronted the ...I do not recommend the head up your mode.

Sometimes not having it concealed, already put people in check... one may think you could be a law enforcement officer...

I do carry, but I didn't bring it with me that time. If a stranger hit me or yelled at me while I ride, I definitely think he either try to rob me or picking on me. There's no reason to do any of that stuffs on the street. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks your opinions guys.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but technically if he made any form of contact with you and then left the scene without exchanging information that's considered a hit and run. Which I believe is a felony.

I'd have made the turn when the light turned green and pulled to the side and when he passed I'd have got his license and watched him ride off. Then call the police and report his for a hit and run.

A little advice. Try not to ride alone late at night. Too many crazies out there. Stay safe out there.

Also at red lights, position yourself in either side of the lane, preferably where the white lanes are and be ready to quickly ride away if someone gets too close. If I do not position myself on sides of the lane, I have people tail gating me all the time at red lights. Do not know if they do it on purpose or they are just retarded but they get like just two inches of my rear tire. Curiously when I was doing the MC scene some years ago nobody will get close to me at red lights. Also thinking about open carry with a waist holster all the way back in my waist. Lets see if that can be a deterrent.

I agree with the contact being a collision and at minimum I would check for damage while in front of the guy. If there is damage then it goes from there...

You should stop next to the lane line so you can pull up next to the cars in front of you in case some gets too close.
