Fast Lane Cycles in Conroe worst piece of shop ever.

Worst shop ever! When I came in to pay for them only partially doing the work they said they would.I told the guy I wish you guys called me to let me know you didn't get the part in. He then proceed to call me a baby and that I was unreasonable for thinking the tech should let me know there would be a more than a month delay. I would never ever ever take anything to these guys ever again!

Things I noticed when I got home that were broken and weren't when i got it.

Front break reservoir was broken cut on the back of the seat stuffing coming out the back

Not a good way to make an introduction in my opinion. You failed to provide any pertinant info other than the shop name. I'm going to fly the BS flag on this post until more information is added.

i call bs, not enough info here and very few shops are going to tell you to just off, which is basically what they told you unless you have made it not worth doing business with...you could be legit and straight up,but this post does not reflect that at all....

Andy GramaMidge, that is strange..... I have bought from there several times and I seem to have good luck.

Write a comment ...

Don't go there! They will not refund your money when a part does not come in after wating for over a month and being told it will be here tomorrow, many times, and it never comes in. Needed the police to step in when he said he was going to throw me a(64 yr old grandmother) out because I wanted my money back. When police stepped in he gave me my money back with a restocking fee deducted for a part that didn't exist! Never ever go there, I felt ganged up on by the staff.

UncleRussell is a friend of mine and coworker, I went with him to pick up his bike and it was ridiculous the way the owner handled the situation.

To start off, the bike has been sitting at this shop for a month and a half with 0 attempts to contact him on the status. They were supposed to install new tires front and back, replace the carbs, inspection, fix the kickstand, and any other misc. items that should be addressed.

The carbs were replaced, but after riding it home the bike does not idle correctly, new tires were not installed, seat came back ripped and not even re-installed properly (we noticed this after he stopped to put gas, he got off the bike and the seat fell off), they charged $25 to remove a kickstand and re-install the same one after they lied about having ordered the part, then saying it was no longer available. I will go into more detail on that, 3 weeks ago UncleRussell called to check status and the guy said the part had come in but he needed to go pick it up (Really? Are they the only spot in Conroe where UPS or FedEx doesnt deliver?), jump to Wednesday of last week and again a call is placed to see if kickstand is done and he said the part is not available anymore. He did not bother to call and let UncleRussell know this, and instead proceeded to tell him to "just come pick up his bike".

Fast forward to Saturday the 24th, we go to pick up the bike and when he asks why no one has contacted him the guy who I assume is the owner/manager flips the out and starts saying "Look, I have 20 bikes back here, i'm not a baby sitter, if you need to know whats going on with your bike you need to call, I don't have time to be baby sitting you" we walk out and he tells us to "Have a nice life".

Once the bike is at his house we notice the front brake reservoir has a hole in it and has brake fluid leaking out, new scratches on the bike, and the torn seat. I would never recommend them to anyone based on this experience.

It is an unfortunate coincidence, and although there is no way to prove it this is his first bike and has had it for less than a year.

Sounds like he was dropping it off and there was a lot of little things you wanted done. I understand that they said they were going to do certain things and didn't. However, next time he needs tires go to House of Paint and get the the same day and leave.

Carb work, this is is something that you could take ur bike somewhere and anything else. A kickstand I would have tried to fix myself and order. Maybe im just too cheap, or maybe I just figure not to waste money.
