They cant get by on their own as it is. Thats the real problem. They can mooch for assistance rather that get a job. I drove through town at lunch and wanted to yell at all the Democrats off sitting on their front porch or walking down the street off. Im working and they are not. They still survive though.

It doesn't work. For example, you can only get tax credits for 3 kids(I think). What people do these days, is let a friend carry any children they have over 3, so they can still both get paid for it.

Pretty if you ask me. I work with a LOT of people that do this, and it sickens me.

Think about the women who got pregnant because of a rape

Or the orphanages with kids that probably won't get adopted if they are over a certain age..

but that would be an obstacle to benefits participation, and that bad, mmmkay.
Seriously, the HHSC policies on "obstacles to participation" are effing ridiculous!

welfare mommas figured out a long time ago, more kids = more benefits. about $170-$200 extra dollars of food stamps per month, per kid.

I work with people everyday who do this. Verifying household composition is a joke when done per policy.

Yeah...that happens in about 1/1000000th of all rape cases. Not exactly what you'd call an overwhelming need. Pretty sure the money for the one or two times a year that happens isnt a big deal.

I see how my comment was misunderstood.

I'm all for abortion especially if it's cheaper.
I don't think the problem with abortion is the money
It's the men/women who want "to do the right thing" and deal with their consequences instead of running away from it.
