I didn't see the woman, only the man. And I didn't realize the driver ran. I'm glad they caught that sorry son-of-a-. Seeing the picture is reliving the entire incident again.

No, but the chances of a drunk hillbilly running over you is much less. or a crazy drunk illegal crashing into you at a stoplight then runing off, like the one that hit my SO and left 4 people for dead last year. they all survived, fortunately. but yeah, the track is safer.

i love going to the track, but in this case, he was just cruising on his cruiser. there's no reason to go cruise on the track with a cruiser bike lol. it's like getting in an accident in a saturn on the way to work and then telling him he should stick to the track.

RIP to the rider though, hope none of my friends ever have to go through that.
