How long do Steering Stabilizers/Dampers last?

Thinking about buying one used. It's about 2-3 years old and looks to be in very good condition (Ohlins). Thoughts? Is it worth half the price of a brand new GPR V4?

i would buy it if it's half the price, they usually do not cost much to rebuild

Nope you're right, Mike.

And it's also correct that they can and should be serviced (as should your suspension).

Get it. My Ohlins damper is very nice and looks the part.
