need insurance.. who is the best?

everyone says Tuan but ive called several times and left messages and never hear back. Called Ed Perez with State Farm just a bit ago so I can legally ride and see if theres any place better. He got me at $89 a month for full coverage with 500 deduc and life insurance for an 08 848 seems pretty good since im 25 and have a driving record

I pay $200~/YEAR with Allstate and thats probably too much.

33 years old
clean record
09 650r - 1k deductable, everything but collision.

State Farm was the cheapest for me. I didnt use Tuan though. I tried 2 years ago and they were asking ALOT of questions that I have never been asked before. And then again several months ago but I needed insurance right away and it took a couple days to hear back from him so I went somewhere else.

My agent now, I just called, gave her the bike info, my info...then paid over the phone, got the policy and was good to go. Took about 10 minutes.

Mine is about $1000.00 /yr. 08 gsxr1000.

yeah same hear, customer service plays an important part, when im paying money. They answered right away took about 10 min. Is StateFarm really the lowest though? I guess different people get different quotes but State Farm was the first i called cause ive used this guy before

how so? I was expecting the Duc to be more expensive, but when i had the 600RR insured with the same place it was about 140 a month

Yeah I know. I think they quoted me 500~ for full coverage including collision. But I think age and previous driving history are the biggest variables of all.

lol the allstate guy did ask me if the 650r was a "sport bike" and I told him it was a "touring/beginner" bike.

I have state farm with kyle lindler in Katy and they gave me the best quote. Insurance is high where I am bc of theft rates in Brazoria county. My bike is $87 a month with full coverage and the whole shebang.... Not too bad compared to Progressive who quoted me $200 a month

I think it changes bike to bike sometimes. Shop around. I used to have state farm and then switched to progressive after they beat state farm quote on a different bike. Progressive can be done all online which makes it really easy. I've heard Dairyland has good rates also but I've never got a quote from them.

State farm has always been the cheapest on all of my bikes...i have just had to shop around and see which agents do bike only policies. A lot of the time they require you to have a car policy as well. I checked into Dairyland a long time ago and they were really expensive...not sure now though. I had to switch over to progressive about 7 months ago bc we got dropped from state farm due to my hubby's accidents (even though it is my bike and he has his own, since we are married, they still consider his record). Everything cleared off his record, we had to wait 6 months (for being cancelled) and then I went back to state farm bc it saved me about 20 a month!

Shop around. I used to have state farm and then switched to progressive after they beat state farm quote on a different bike. Progressive can be done all online which makes it really easy. I've heard Dairyland has good rates also but I've never got a quote from them.
