TL 1000R
Friend of mine is looking to buy a Suzuki TL 1000R - any suggestions on where would be a good place to look? What would be the average price for one in good condition?
Also I mentioned he might want to look at the Honda RC 51 - Am I not correct in saying they are similar in style/size/performance? CHEERS! |

I think the RC is smaller and a little lighter.......but they would be pretty close in performance.

I liked the TL better, had a smoother response, handlebars didnt sit as low as the RC. Plus the TL seats are way.....more comfy

TLR and TLS are very different.
TLR has a twin spar beam frame and TLS has a tube frame. TLR has forged pistons and rods - more power, but more weight I believe. TLS has always carried the stigma of being a death bike because of it's capacity for shaking its head in anger but a steering damper should fix that. Also a great wheelie bike from what I understand TLR seat cowl looks the shife! |
