a bit much for someone with 1-3 month experience.

However, it's a sick sick bike from what I've read. I still prefer the BMW S1000rr though...

Send a message via AIM to Scorpio
I think you'd be better off with a lightly used Ducati 848.

not planning to buy the bike anytime soon at all. But just wondering what everyones opinion of this bike is compared to all the 1000cc bikes or whatnot. I like it a lot and think it's a completely unique ride when compared to the ducati's. It's like Ferrari vs Lamborghini of bikes aha.

I don't see any of these bikes on the street at all! It's japanese out there majority of the time that I see.

The Aprilia RSV Factory looks GREAT on paper. Magazines have been giving it high reviews. Probably would be one of the most comfortable rides out of the box in the Superbike category.x

The only magazine test I've seen on it said that all the test bikes blew motors.

Really, what gave it away? The picture or the mileage.

I have an 08 tuono which has the same motor but not the same suspension as the factory. It is f****** awesome. I had an SV 1000 before that and loved it but this thing is on another level. So smooth. Not a good beginner bike due to the massive torque it puts out. Though most Japanese liter bikes would smoke it in a drag race, it puts down power right away...at 2,000 rpm you can give it 1/4 throttle and it will stand up instantly. Can easily spit you off if you are not paying attention . All liter bikes are stupid fast and might spit you off but this thing just does it very low rpm. I've ridden the factory and the ohlins definitely makes a difference. It is a scalpel in the twisties but so is the standard.
