And last but not least, I changed my mind on the see-thru derby cover, because I have always loved the skull and chain cover and just went with that. Also added a drink holder that I had sitting around the garage. It's still a cruiser, after all.

Love the beer holder! You normally see those in the handlebars but the location of yours make more sense.

u should run it though the 1/4! what sort of sportbikes do u think it will hang with?

I don't like extra stuff up around my hands, or spraying my face as a cold drink condenses. Down low don't even get anything like that.

She got more shiny's this last week. Contrast cut Heavy Breather cover, black of course. In two weeks she goes for new handlebars and grips. Black LA Choppers 14" apes and Kuryakin ISO grips with Throttle Boss.

Considering getting the Lindby engine guard as opposed to powder coating the original. Hmmm...

I don't even know. Off the line I think it would dust off just about everything stock, but that's just a guess. I mean, it's all about torque off the line, and this bike has an abundance.

I was under the impression you were a cop. Those 14" apes would be over what the law allows won't they?

No Texas law against them. Maybe elsewhere, but not here.

definitely not to argue law with you as you would know it far better than I would. I only point this out as I saw it being discussed on another forum and this was given. More to do with passing inspection but I would think that if you're riding something that wouldn't pass inspection....

Oh, and you know the way around it is when you get the bike inspected, to lay the bars waaaay back to the rear for the inspection, and then straighten them back up once done.

Not that *I* would do such a thing...

Yeah, I've had/have bikes that should never pass inspection but the inspectors really don't seem to worry about bikes. And justifiably so. There are so many laws on the books that don't make sense too.
