New to me ( old as ) bike
Haven’t been around in forever, life gets in the way sometimes.
I was given this old Yamaha by my uncle. Needs some work, but I plan on trying to teach myself to do it. ( fork seals, carb sync ) 1982 Yamaha Virago 750 Ugly as sin and old, but hope to be back on two wheels soon. |

Welcome back!
Virago 750 is a good solid bike. Make it a café or something! Flat bars, rework the subframe, get rid of the king/queen seat. Oh yeah |

the virago 750 is a cool bike. i had one for a while. my 2 cents is this DO NOT WASTE TIME/MONEY ON A SINGLE CARB SETUP. it looks cool, but chasing down vacuum leaks and cleaning the stock dual setup will be much less of a headache.
this was how mine looked after several months of around with it. never could get anything decent mpg-wise out of it. i could empty the tank from montgomery to conroe lol |
