After lots of thought finally decided to pull the trigger and upgrade to my dream bike. Only regret is that I put it off this long.

You could have done a lot worse that's for sure. The new Milwaukee 8 is really something.

I'm pretty happy with it so far. Got 650 miles on it so not quite through breaking it in. Finishing the headers and it's getting a set of cams and push roads at the 1k service, then will see what that 114 can really do.

Yes it is, just got the break in service done and added the SE8-447 cam, rods, and had it tuned. Woke it up A LOT.

The wet heads are neat and all, but I love how the new saddlebag latches work.

My buddies popped open while riding on his '15/16 HD recently, said he'd seen doors ripped off on rides before

Better keep an eye on the latch

Too bad he also traded in his zx14r. AND convinced the only other non-Harley rider in our group to trade in his fz09 for a Harley too. Now I'm the only female and the only sports bike rider in the group. I feel ostracized.

The 14's had issues with the bags falling off originally due to quick detach hardware, haven't heard about the latches having problems. May have not had it closed completely, I can see it catching air and flinging open then. The bags now have actually screws that attach them to the frame with an arm on the head allowing you to unscrew them by hand, and the lids are gasket sealed so once closed air shouldn't be an issues but thanks for the heads up.
