New but not really
I have been a member here for a little while but spend most of my time at the track. Well, that is about to change. I just picked up a Harley street bob from a member on here. Thanks Matt. I hope you are enjoying your new ride. I have only ridden it a few miles as time was a limiting factor Sunday. I enjoyed all of the maybe 10 miles that I rode it. Very comfortable and the hot rod sound and torque was nice. I will say that coming off years of ridding sport bikes and racing it will take some getting used to. I'm working on installing the forward controls now and will hopefully get out and ride it some in the near future. I plan on doing some parade laps at MSRH to see how I have to lean to hit hard parts. See you guys on the streets some day soon.

i havent had a whole lot of time to play with the sv, but what little time i have, has brought a big smile to my face. i'd like to at some point take it to a track, but i'm not buying any full leathers any time soon...
i'm glad you are enjoying the harley. i really didnt like it. i was considering getting the taller stiletto shocks that burley sells, and some lower bars, like the 48 has. i ultimately decided i'd be happier with a different bike, lol. i wish thee a great many miles of fun on the massive dyna. thank you again |
