Those are some nice rides. I just can't bring myself to write a $42k check for something I'm not even going to be driving. Plus my wife wouldn't agree to my terms. Even if she did her lips would so chapped by day 7 that I would have to put her in default.

I paid 28 for mine 2 years ago, it's a 2010 Rubicon, with 30K on the clock.

You're going to have a hard time finding a JK model especially a 4 door for anywhere close to 20K, unless it is beat to .

I had to replace the clocking spring in mine already, it was 1,200.00 for the dealer to do it, I did it myself for 250.00 and 30 minutes of my time.

It rides really good, considering the last jeep I had was just the two door model. The extra wheel base makes it ride so much better.

I had an issue with a rental jeep in Moab this year, where the sway bar disconnect motor had shorted out. It made all kinds of fancy noises and cool lights flashing on the dash

I'm sorry... Sway bar disconnect motor? I'm more interested now than I was previously. Apparently there's a lot that I don't know about these things.

That makes total sense and it's only logical that they would make it electronic but for some reason it's still awesome. I was hoping that the more I learned the less I'd like the Jeeps... Not the other way around.

My moms jeep was ordered to her simple specs and lift/wheels/tires added for less thank $38k. I'd take a 4x4 4Runner over it any day, and she would too...

Im not bagging on the toyotas, their nice but they're two completely different animals.

I like the jeeps ability to remove the top and doors, as well as the solid front axles.

I like the comfortability of thr toyotas independent front suspension, it has better road manners.

What's so special about the hard rock? Check the options, you maybe able too but a base model and install the same upgrades for less money

Actually I can get the Rubicon, Altitude, or Hard Rock for roughly the same price. Just figured I might as well go with the top trim level. Truthfully I like all the Altitude styling but I'd feel retarded spending $40k on a new Jeep that didn't have 4.10s, lockers, etc.
