Does anyone else get pulled over more since began riding with music?
Got pulled over again today, conroe's finest. Ol boy boxed me in, asked if I was in a hurry and how fast was going. Think I was going speed of traffic and maybe jamming to music. Bout that time another twinkie pulls up behind bike and blocks it in. Ran my paperwork and it took sooooooooo long. He came back and actually thanked me for not running, told me to slow down and cut me loose. Pays to not be riding dirty BUT it is hard to do speed limit while jamming, it's hard to do limit anyway just seems like I am getting pulled over more frequently since my sweet earphones Anyone else? |

If I listen I keep it low, for my own safety when listening to what's going on around me.
Earphones with the insulators really cut back on noise but doesn't help enhance safety. |

I don't ride with music.. the headphones never stay in right plus I can't hear if somebody is locking up there breaks not to hit me.. more of a distraction and I have tried several times to throw the ipod on and ride

I wear noise isolating earphones and listen to my Ipod or I wear earplugs. I already have high frequency hearing loss, and have no plans to make it worse.
I still have not been pulled over though, and I do speed everywhere I go. I just make sure to be checking around me constantly, checking mirrors every 2-5 seconds, depending on conditions. Like today my friend was behind me and I saw the fire suburban come up before he did and he had nothing blocking his hearing, I had to wave at him to pull off to the side and let the emergency vehicle past. Seeing the "This is NOT Daytona Speedway" sign in the forest motivated me to go faster as well, plus I had some good music going! |

i ride with these earphones...they are pretty good and dont come off at all when i put the helmet on...they are comfortable...
![]() Also when riding i tend not to put all the volume up...i do check around my surroundings just about 3-4 seconds, mirrors, side to side...and when in extreme traffic i put pause on the ipod just to hear any one honking or tires screaching... |

i have a pair of skull candy as well. they have great sound and fit well with a helmet, but i hate their rubberized cord. any movement with the cord and you hear it clearly. the cord is very grippy as well.

Mine are Shure SE420 model-kinda pricey but work excellent. Was tempted to try skull candy but a buddy has the shures and was really pleased. Nice thing bout these is they have a volume controll you can use while riding. Maybe I should use it to turn the shiz down, or listen to more btm
