How long do car insurance companies take to pay out for a stolen written off car?

I had my car nicked about two weeks ago, I have sent the insurance company all the required docs and incident form. They found the car burnt out a day later. Police were informated as soon as I realised car was gone. How long will the insurance companiy take to pay out?

Burned out, as in set on fire? WTH kinda thief is that?

When I totaled my s2000 in 2007, state farm took approx 3 weeks from the day of the accident to cut me a check.

Its common among insurance jobs and cars that were used in a crime. Idiots will also do it to eliminate evidence that would lead to their capture. Its usually insurance jobs though. Not implying that this was though.
