Motorcycle trailer options
In the next year, I am planning a few longer trips (big bend, Sturgis, norcal) that I want to take the lady and the dog (possibly some friends).
Do yall own, rent, or borrow a trailer for your long runs? If you buy, any brand or model you have had good luck with? If you rent, is there anywhere other than Uhaul ($150 for 10 days is not bad)? |

those things will depend on your riding goals. for me personally i would buy my own stuff because i would want to ride everywhere. but you know money is another big factor. i don't know how rich you are

Have you looked into Eaglerider, or other forms of motorcycle rentals?
I pay into a membership and through that, I get to build credits that I can apply anytime, to any 400+ participating locations. They even rent gear, to meet their local minimal safety requirements for road use vehicles. |

Eagle rider is a pretty cool idea actually. How is availability? I checked a few places and they only had 1 or 2 motorcycles in their inventory.
Money? I would love it to be Harbor freight cheap, but my real issue is space to store a trailer. |

For a trailer, I'd recommend a Kendon. Pick one up used for $1000-$2000, depending on one to three bike capacity. Use it, and when you are done, you can sell it for what you paid for it. If you keep it, they fold up into the space of one bike in your garage.
Here are two examples. https://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/d...247447480.html https://austin.craigslist.org/tro/d/...247715317.html |

I just put together a 1720 lbs capacity harbor freight trailer. A lot of work, but I know it is done right and I know every square inch of the trailer. I keep it folded up in my garage. Also, I can pull it behind my Mazda 3. Ready for taking my wofe and dog with me to the Hill country.

I picked up a used one for $500 a year or so ago and really love having my own trailer but I shouldve gotten a foldable or smaller one that I could store easier. My HOA hates me
