When i first started my weekend rides i may have 3 or 4 show up. Years later we have anywhere from 15 to 40 on weekends. I think there is still interest.

And some of us cannot physically ride anymore but still are here because MH is family. I do miss a lot of my old TSBA folks as well. Too bad they don't have the presence they once did as well as HSN and others.

i have a family at home, I dont have a sport bike so I ride for relaxing and when I was going to work I commuted on my bike everyday. Still take short rides around 4 times a week.

I just recently (within the last 2 months) purchased my first Street/sport bike, found MH and started joining in the fun. I really enjoy the group rides and have learned a lot in just the month or so I've been meeting up with the great folks of MH. I too am "older" at 43 and can't ride as much as I want. I do break away when ever possible and get some seat time in.

I'm still here, although I admit to not being as active. Partly because I stay in SA for school and I'm only back during the winter and summer and some weekends in between. Also partly due to facebook basically taking over meet ups. Its kind of depressing really, I miss seeing meets and hangouts here on a normal occasion and bike nights. I feel like the bike scene in Houston in general has dwindled down quite a bit, to the point where its only small groups of friends around town who know each other and not common, weekly meet up points. And if there are any, please let me know and I'll show up and hang out next time I'm in town with a bike and some free time (bombshells 45 south doesn't count, lol)

MH for life or until it stops loading one day. I have met so many great people, learned so much information and bought and sold so much stuff from this site the last ten years. Social media is definitely hurting this platform. I couldn't even count the people or insane things that have happened here that impacted my life. I seem to remember a few threads that brought so much traffic the site shut down, one specifically involving a police chase...

I'm in for shirts but can we upgrade the quality from the thick, wide gilden variety? Maybe get some athletic material ones?
I pledge to start posting more moto threads starting today MMHGA! |

I might be up for a shirt if you do sleeveless. Not a wife beater though, sleeveless muscle or gym shirt with a regular neck.

Been riding some type of M/C since I was 7. I am now 53. I joined MH around 2005. I always wanted a spare trackbike but that never worked out. I did many local MH (HAK) outings and forest runs. Then one of my last MH rides some of the group started doing wheelies in traffic on I-45 near the woodlands mall. I love wheelies but in the middle of traffic not so much. Soon after I sold my GSXR and bought a Hardley. The GF loves it and we can ride comfortably for hours. I can't ride in that sportbike position for very long anymore. I don't really miss it too much. I still attend MotoGP COTA and watch Motoamerica etc.. And I spend time taking her kid to ride/ race motocross. So pretty much a cruiser rider these days.
