Exclamation sky diving

Has anyone tried it before? There is a place next to San Marcos that will do it for $179 that is with my student discount. Is it worth it?

Been there done that and got a video to boot. If you haven't done it I say do it because it is freaking awesome! You won't ever do anything that compares to that first step!

Guess I'll be the grinch. Been there, done that, most likely, won't do it again.

The free fall was very fun, the slow part when the shoot was opened was okay. But, I see it as having with a hooker - too much money for just 2 minutes of fun.

It is worth doing it once, though.

I went twice last summer, both with Skydive Spaceland. For me, the first jump was probably the most exhilarating thing I've ever done. As soon as I jumped out, I did in fact feel as though I was falling, and it was a huge sensory overload. It was an intense minute until the canopy opened. I went two days later, and while it was still fun, it was not nearly as intense. Also, I didn't feel as though I was falling the second jump. It's definitely worth going at least once.

saying skydiving its boring after a tandem its like saying riding is boring after riding around the block.

If its too boring, you are not doing it right

1 min of freefall, 3 more mins of just floating in air. Worth the view.

Doing a good twisty road is more fun and cheaper IMO. However, checking one off the 'bucket list' isnt bad either.

Next one for me is hang gliding.

I've done it once! Very exhilarating the first time. Would like to do it again, but it is kind of pricey and my money is being bled by too many other hobbies at the moment!

But it is worth doing at least once!

179 is high. I jumped for $99 at 1800skydive or something.
Look on groupon, living social, google offers.

While I think skydiving was a huge disappointment, I certainly think u should try it at least once.
Prepping for it and sitting in the plane was the best part. The fall....was not a fall. U float, it seems. U dont get that sucking in stomach feeling like on roller coasters. Ill choose going on the texas cyclone at astroworld over skydiving anyday.

Try bungee jumping off a bridge. Or zip lining through a forest.
