ias long as we have a 12 - 18 mph wind we are good, which is most days. both kites will fly as low as about 8mph winds, but neither produce any power at those speeds. the big on needs about 14 to pull me pretty good on the wakeboard, the trainer kite needs about 25 to really make it pull and do some jumping on the beach
