got a buddy looking to buy a middleweight
he likes what ive told him about the sv650, but might also be into a fz6r or other more relaxed, noob friendly bike that's bigger than a 250/300. he had a bad wreck a while back on a liter bike, and wants to ease back into motorcycling. he's looking to spend around 2500. show me what you got.

I always wanted an SV.... found a nicely kept bandit instead which has done me well.
Have to say didn’t realize the SV came out with a cafe style SV650X. Looks really sweet. Quick search shows a new 2019 to be 6.5k$. He might consider looking at this vs much older beat up ones. If he takes care of it can get 3k$ back out so in end. So he net puts in same amount of cash and enjoys more. Plus all the looks etc. That said I think it’d be a keeper. https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/...50X-5008286178 Other than that V-Strom a good bike with strong following might be able to find some older ones with quite a bit more life left in them. |
