Lone Star Rally 2021 - Nov. 4th - Nov. 7th - Who's going?

Like the title says... Who is planning on riding on Thursday, Friday, SATURDAY, or Sunday?

Any group rides planned?

Anyone interested in doing a group ride?

Talk to me... I haven't gone in YEARS!!

meh. Harley fest. buncha people who all look the same and ride the same-looking and sounding bikes who give people like me the stink eye for simply being on a crotch rocket that looks vastly different than everything else. not to mention I'm a younger guy without a beard and tattoos, it's just not my scene at all. also my bike doesn't particularly do too well in standing traffic...........

I'll go if enough of you do, could be fun.

Nobody has ever given me a bad time. I have attended for years, never on a Harley. My first was on a Honda Rebel 250. I got lots of thumbs up. I must have had over a dozen women coming up to me saying that the Rebel was their first bike, and they wished that they never sold it. , most of the attendees are professional types posing as "Billy Bad ". It's a better people watching event than a motorcycle event.

It sounds like you have never been or probably went one time and just made up your mind about it without really taking it in.

It's NOTHING like what you described lol

It's a lot of fun and buncha crotch rockets there too..

I've only been ONCE on my Harley. The dozen other times were on rockets. Never had any issues and always had a good time.

Lemme know if yall go on Thursday. I may come for a bit and say hello. The weekend's going to be spent in the deer blind though. IDK why they scheduled the rally for opening weekend of deer season

I'd be interested either Friday night or maybe Saturday afternoon. I went to the last one and it was a grand time... Plenty of bikes, music, and general sillyness! Never a bad experience.

Anyone have any inside scoop on what's going on? Last time Harley was there doing Livewire group test rides that looked pretty fun...of course you had to get there early to sign-up, etc. Something like that would be cool.

Is this event always in Galveston? I looked at the website briefly. What does a parking pass mean? If I recall correctly, I’ve been in Galveston some years ago and there appeared to be many riders about. We were eating by the sea wall. Don’t recall anything or any place closed off. We didn’t go to the Strand area at the time.
