I believe his point is to have rides that are specifically designed for beginning and intermediate riders and not for budding track riders or racers. There's nothing wrong with that approach. More power to him.

It means me and my Ninja 250R will give it a shot and see how it goes.

Seriously, it sounds like fun and I will certainly let all know how this beginner on his 250R does on the first group ride I'm able to make.

As for rider meetings. I've been on group rides with and without them and I prefer them.
