WTB: Street Triple
Looking to buy a Street Triple, 2013+, preferably "R" model. Local dealer wants an outrageous amount of money for a new one. If anyone has one for sale or even a lead on one, please let me know. Thanks!
Edit: Also open to Speed Triples if the price is right. |

He does, but unfortunately I fat-fingered the keyboard and managed to type 2011 instead of 2013. From what I understand it was a pretty minor refresh but I really like how the newer exhaust looks. Thank you for the heads up, though--I'll keep him in mind if I can't find a '13+

Thanks for the lookout man. Sadly, Stubbs sold theirs already and the other one is not local.

The one in Lafayette says he will deliver or meet halfway to make the deal, hit him up and make an offer and see about where he would meet . You'll never know unless you ask

Not sure what updates attract you to the 2013+, but I have a 2012 R I'd consider parting with.
Arrow 3:1 full exhaust with the correct Triumph tune done by the dealer Öhlins TTX MKII shock Triumph quickshifter Triumph Crystal White Flyscreen Triumph Crystal White Seat Cowl Triumph carbon fiber front fender Triumph rear hugger Triumph barend mirrors D3 tailtidy -1 (15t) front sprocket off (OEM sprocket off of a 2013 675R) New front and rear tires within the last 500 miles (Dunlop Q3) Extra set of headlights, brand new never installed (there was a recall on the headlights for cracking, however I haven't experienced any problems. That being said, they are there if you need them.) ![]() |

Mainly that they changed the frame. Leads to the bike being lighter as well as some cosmetic changes. Good looking bike, PM'd.

Thanks.
![]() Thank you for the compliment. ![]() I haven't been on a 2013 plus. I just remember reading the reviews when the new model came out. Granted it was lighter, 12 pounds if I'm correct, but some of the reviewers actually preferred the old model to the new. They made 1st gear taller on the new model to standardize the gearing across the 675 range to cut cost, etc. With the exhaust I have on the bike, I'm sure the difference is within 5 pounds of the new model. I think the difference is probably subjective when you get down to it though. Looks. I much prefer the old model in that regard. The new model looks like it wants to be a Japanese bike, which I'm not a fan of. I do like the RX though. I've never seen the topic addressed, but the rear subframe on the new bike looks much higher, and less comfortable for a passenger (maybe it's not though?). GL whatever model you end up with, you'll be happy. PM returned |
