I don't think it looks much better. That's one of the main reasons I didn't get it. But the perfomance side of it is WAY batter than the street triple.

They could have done a LOT to clean up the way the engine looks.

if you are truly interested i would say the street triple r is the only way to go. the non adjustable suspension on the regular model is what kills it for me. also the r comes in a cool matte metallic orange.

The suspension and radial brakes make the R a much better bike.

well, a properly adjusted suspension for your weight is a night and day difference from the standard setup. adjustable for spring preload, and dampening. trust me. buy an r and take it to motorcycles unlimited for a proper $27.50 suspension adjustment. for sag

I sent mine off to Race-Tech and had it set up. No problems yet. But I can't make changes easily.

The only really problem with the R is there's NO clear coat on the bike. And they're VERY hard to fix dings and scratches on.

then dont ding or scratch it. lol. my neon blue daytona has no dings or scratches, lol. just dead bugs

the speed triple is probably better but its still like 3k more than the street triple.
