My new (to me) R1

Hello everyone, I just recently purchased a 2,400 mile 2015 R1. A buddy and I drove 13 hours straight to pick it up in the heart of Georgia. We left at 10pm on a friday and got there at 1pm on Saturday. lol

We ended up making a trip out of it, and on the way home, we stopped off in NOLA for fun on Bourbon St. and some well deserved sleep. Came home Sunday morning.

Pics of the bike.

First thing I did was ditch the ORIGINAL tires and swap on some fresh Q3+'s

Photo from my first ride with is this past weekend.

So far, I have 600 miles on it and I love it!

Not sure on the brand. Seems like a Chinese made one. I got it from a MH member used.

It's rated for 600 lbs. I've had heavier bikes on it too without issue.

To be honest, I was a little worried about the bike making the trip all the way back, but we had no issues.

It was a out ride with the Terrible 10...
It looks like you were right at home on your new R1 in Austin from the tight twisties to the wide open sweepers....

We had several people comment.

Best one was from some guy in Mont Belvieu who swore he had 10k in cash in the truck and wanted to buy it. Said he'd have to go get the rest of it. Said he'd never seen ANYTHING LIKE IT.

He must not be motorcycle savvy

There was this GIANT DIP on I-10 leaving New Orleans that made me think we were gonna lose the bike or something worse, but I looked back, and it was all rock solid. I was seriously surprised!

Sweet ride. I still can't get enough of the sound of that engine (R1 and FZ10). Must be awesome with the Graves exhaust.
