Wanted to tag along with the guy on the Can Am Spyder but traffic sucked and I couldn't catch him.

i rode to work at 3pm on saturday. the skies were clear, and it was perfect weather. i got off at 3am, and rode through some hail and very heavy rain. im not sure of the temp, but it felt like 40's or 50's. ugh. also i'm sick as a dog now, and at work. kill me.

i regret it just a little. i got here at about 7:30, and my fingers still hurt. my heavier jacket and gloves were left in my office, so i rode in with a mesh jacket w/ windbreaker and mesh gloves! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!

Rode today and my bike barely turned over when I left work. I think possibly because I take local all the way to work. The second and third try the battery did better and finally started. Thought I was about to Uber.

30 degrees when I left my house this morning. 13 mile ride to the office.
Unfortunately the freeway looked like a Walmart parking lot. I took a bunch of side streets and a couple ditches. There were accidents everywhere I turned. 1 1/2 hours later I'm finally at work.

2 pairs of socks kept my feet warm.
I have cold weather gloves that don't help much but the combination of those and the Barkbusters on the Rally kept the wind off of my hands enough that they didn't get too cold. Really it was only the fingers on my left hand that got a little cold.
I also learned from previous years that keeping your neck warm makes a huge difference. So I wear a scarf and tuck it into my thermal suit.

I've been keeping the Interceptor on a battery tender. I know I have a bad cell on the battery and need to replace it but I thought I would take a chance today and ride it anyway.
