Lien on an Abandoned Trailer?

Anyone have any info of how to place a lien on a trailer that has been on your property for a long time? How long does it need to be left there, how you go about registering it, how long you have to keep it before selling, etc. Thanks in advance.

We do it from time to time on abandoned cars.
