I should be able to make this... and it is going to be my last Houston meet before I move to Austin this weekend so everyone should come out! (or not)

Nice to see Trunx at the meet. He did a great job demo’ing his tesla. Eyeball flattening launches. Craziness.

Yes, you could say those launches were...ludicrous. Just insane. Poor Kuro was dizzy the rest of the night from all the Gs. And what a nice looking car, too. (The white one in the pic below.) That experience is not something I will forget.

It was great to see the pack of regulars, and awesome to see a few new faces last night. Thanks for joining us, guys! I wish I would've gotten a close-up of the two Groms. They were rad. The other bikes are hiding them in my pic. lol

Well, so long, MiniG0D. We will miss you. Best of luck with your relocation and new job. Keep in touch and visit us when you can!

Yup. Now I want a Tesla and a Grom. The grom can fit in my Tahoe without a trailer and I could come to meets with it lol.

Yeah that Tesla is no joke!! That thing reeeally caught me off by surprise!! But it's a lot of fun though even from a limited loaner car!!

MiniG0D it's been a pleasure man! I wish the best of luck for you with your new gig in Austin. Don't be a stranger bud!

Just imagine how much faster it feels without 5 people in the car. I also found out it has launch mode yesterday. It quite literally pushed me back in my seat and turned my stomach when I figured it out. You have to go into the settings and select some options for Max Battery Power. This turns on the battery heater to raise the temperature which reduces electrical impedance, it also runs the A/C full bore to cool the motors so they can pump out more torque without overheating. All In all between the runs I did it was .3-.5 seconds faster to 60mph than what we were doing at the meet.

Hopefully next time mine is in for service they'll give me a P100DL and we can see what 0-60 looks a full second faster than what happened on Monday.
